We’re engaged - Hooray! So what exactly do I do now?

Getting engaged is exciting, but it can also be the start of a very stressful season in your life. Weddings can be super complicated to plan, but knowing exactly what to expect can make the process much easier. So what kind of ceremony do you want?

Super Traditional

This ceremony usually takes place in a church or place of worship, though event spaces are increasingly common. One partner typically walks down the aisle (sometimes escorted by a parent/loved one) to the altar where the officiant, other partner, and any attendants are waiting. Traditional vows are exchanged, along with rings, and the union is concluded with a kiss and introduction of the new couple.

Traditional, But personalized

Less formal ceremonies can still retain some traditional wedding characteristics while incorporating aspects that are unique to the couple. Custom vows, sand ceremonies, involving one or both partner’s children in the ceremony, or having a friend read a cherished poem can make your wedding one that your loved ones will never forget.

Unique/Themed

Are you obsessed with Star Wars? Want to wear Mickey Mouse ears during your ceremony? Dream of getting married dressed in full pirate regalia? Anything goes! As long as nothing illegal happens, we can make it work.

Just Make It Legal

We just want to celebrate privately and need an officiant to make it legal. Paperwork and maybe an exchange of rings.
